How to cancel Apple One

Music, TV+, Arcade, Fitness+, News+, iCloud in one Apple ID charge. Cancelling One does not cancel add-ons you stacked next to it.

The trap

Apple One is an Apple ID subscription: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Apple One. Individual, Family, and Premier are different bundles (Premier adds Fitness+ and News+). Cancelling One drops you to free tiers at period end — iCloud storage above 5 GB is the cliff: photos stop uploading unless you buy iCloud+ separately. Music, TV+, Arcade, Fitness+, and News+ that you subscribed to individually before One can still sit next to the bundle as extra lines. Cancelling Music is not cancelling One. Family Sharing: the organizer’s Apple ID is the only biller.

What fails

• Turning off Music and thinking Apple One died.
• Cancelling One and ignoring iCloud photos still trying to upload 200 GB.
• A Family member cancelling on their phone. Only the organizer can.
• Leaving an individual TV+ or Fitness+ next to One.
• Deleting apps.
